Isabelle’s work seems to prevail within that unlikely calm preceding the breaking storm. Her videos and sculptures – on occasion performance and installations- appear to leave time at a loose end: gesture and motion are slowed down and hidden rhythms revealed.
Isabelle lives and works in Paris. She holds a Fine Arts degree from the Sorbonne, Paris (1997) and graduated with honors from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2003. Her work has been exhibited in Europe and throughout the world. Recent exhibitions/projections include Galerie Hengevoss-Durkop, Hamburg (2005), Galerie Anton Weller (2005), Guangdong Museum of Art, Canton, China (2004) and the International Izmir Short Film Festival (Izmir, Turkey).
